ICLAHE Learning and Administration

Publishing

Two journals for learning and for academic administration

ICLAHE is closely associated with two peer reviewed journals. The strongest papers presented at the conference are invited into the next available issue, and authors may also submit directly to either title through the publisher.

Journal of Learning in Higher Education

Print ISSN 1936 346X

Almost every institution says that teaching sits at the centre of its mission, yet the attention paid to research within a discipline often suggests otherwise. This journal exists to correct that imbalance by giving learning centred work a serious platform.

Manuscripts are invited from every discipline. The most compelling learning papers presented at the conference are put forward automatically for the next issue.

The journal is listed in Cabell's directory of publishing opportunities in educational psychology and administration, is indexed by EBSCO, and has been under consideration for indexing by Scopus.

Journal of Academic Administration in Higher Education

Print ISSN 1936 3478

This journal is devoted to articles on the administration of academic units in colleges and universities. It invites manuscripts from every discipline, because the work of running a department is far more alike across fields than it is different.

The strongest administration papers presented at the conference are put forward automatically for the next issue.

The journal is listed in Cabell's directory of publishing opportunities in educational psychology and administration, is indexed by EBSCO, and has been under consideration for indexing by Scopus.

How conference papers reach the journals

A paper does not have to be finished before it is presented. Work that is presented as an abstract may be developed into a full paper later, even a considerable time after the meeting. When the full paper is ready, it can be considered for one of the two journals.

Authors who prefer not to wait for the conference cycle may approach either journal directly. Both titles accept submissions throughout the year and follow the same blind review model used for the conference.

Indexing and listings

Both journals appear in Cabell's directory of publishing opportunities in educational psychology and administration and are indexed by EBSCO. Indexing by Scopus has been under consideration for both titles.
