Academic Business World International Conference

Purpose

Academic Business World aims to promote inclusiveness in research by offering a forum for discussion of work in its early stages, as well as work that departs from the traditional research paradigms of a field. The organisation wants its conferences to be known as a peer reviewed venue that is open to the full range of researchers in business and in the reference disciplines of the social sciences.

The joint conference gives each community its own identity while sharing a venue, a registration desk and a social programme. Delegates may move between the two streams, which is where much of the value of the arrangement lies.

Tracks

Papers in the traditional areas of business, and in any of the reference disciplines, are invited. Papers that are still in development and papers that use non traditional paradigms are especially welcome. Submissions are organised into the following tracks.

Aims of each meeting

The primary aim of an Academic Business World meeting is to provide a forum for the discussion of research within business and the reference disciplines. A second and important objective is to encourage exchange between disciplines by bringing professors from many countries and fields together for social and intellectual interaction.

Manuscripts presented at the joint conference are considered for the journals associated with the two organisations. Authors who wish to submit directly to a journal may do so through the publisher, JW Press.
